All the best council and community halls in Wellington
Hey wedding lovers!
Lots of you loved finding out about all the best council halls in Auckland.
Today it's Wellington's turn for some beautiful hall action!
I lived in Wellington for five years, and I still have a special place in my heart for this very cool city. I knew there would be some great halls here (I've actually been inside a fair few of them myself!) and I've even found some hidden gems for you as well. Plenty of these halls really have that Wellington vibe, perfect for a city wedding.
I have got to admit guys, this has actually turned into a small obsession for me. I love hunting down these beautiful little halls and trawling the internet trying to find photos of the inside.
Wellington has been so much harder to get these gorgeous pictures for you! No images are on the Wellington council website, it's very hit and miss!
These are my picks for your best Wellington halls that are council or community owned- As with my Auckland hall post, I was looking for halls with wooden floor, high ceilings, neutral or white walls and ideally a bar across the ceiling to hang garlands and festoon lights. Some of these halls have a Wellington flavour and creativity going on, which I totally love. Some of them were also so retro that I couldn't leave them out!
If you love one of these halls (remember some of the photos require a little imagination to picture them set for your reception) you can click on the link to check out how to hire them. They're all very reasonably priced, and most of them include use of the kitchen facilities as well!
In no particular order and very randomly put together
I have a feeling these halls are absolutely lovely inside, but unfortunately I can't get any pictures! If any of these are in your area and you're looking for a hall, get in touch and see if you can drop by for a visit (while you're there, take a picture and send it to me so I can update this list!)
